Yocobe ("we", "the publication") operates www.yocobe.com. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we never do.

What we collect

Email address — only if you subscribe. If you enter your email to receive our daily briefing, we store it to send you that briefing. That's the entire list.

Reading analytics. We use Ghost's built-in, privacy-respecting analytics to see aggregate readership — which posts get read, roughly how many people, from which countries. This data is not tied to your identity, and we do not run any third-party tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no ad networks).

Server logs. Like every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and abuse prevention. These are retained briefly and never sold or shared.

What we never do

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your data — to anyone, ever.
  • We do not run advertising, so there is no ad-targeting infrastructure on this site.
  • We do not send email you didn't ask for. One daily briefing; nothing else.

Email delivery

Subscription emails are sent through our newsletter infrastructure (Ghost + its email delivery provider, currently transactional email via SMTP). Your email address is shared with these providers solely to deliver mail you requested.

Your choices

Unsubscribe — every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. It works instantly, no confirmation steps, no guilt trip.
Delete your data — email us and we will permanently remove your address and any associated records within 7 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and note the date above. Material changes will be announced in the newsletter itself.
